Aescripts GoType v1.01 (Win, Mac): GoType is a distinctive and super-simple text animator ideal for quickly creating kinetic typography. With just a handful of essential functions, you'll discover it's a cost-effective and time-saving option to create text animations by hand or use other more complex scripts or plugins. The distinctive UI is designed to blend seamlessly into your working space within the Comp Window and the Timeline.
Installing:
The easiest way to install GoType is to use the application escripts manager and plugins application. To install manually as a dockable panel, drag the GoType.jsxbin file and the GoType folder (containing the .ffx files) into After Effects/Scripts/ScriptUI Panels (MAC) or After Effects/Support Files/Scripts/ScriptUI Panels (Windows) and restart After Effects.

- The spacing, size, and font are managed via the Character Window, while the layout is determined through the Paragraph Window.
- Speed Settings (frames): Very Fast: 10 / Fast: 15 / Medium: 20 / Slow: 40 / Very Slow: 60
- Text is split: A Pipe Key ( | ) Inserted between words makes a new page of text.
- Editing Text: Once the Go! The button is hit, and GoType will create a number-coded GTPage pre-comp (placed within GoType's GoType directory) with animated text, activated by markers on a master control layer within the comp. The layers can be modified or changed if required. Moving the markers can alter the point of entry for the layers.
- Intensity and Easing: An effects control is added to the GTPage layer of the master comp. This regulates the degree of easing and intensity used for the movement. We used the most frequently employed eases (Transition In Ease Out, Transition Out Ease Out). When the control for ease is set at 0, the resultant move will be linear. Setting it to 100 will use the most ease that is possible. If greater eases are required, try using a more accessible speed setting.
- Offset It turns off the delays between text layers, meaning that the lines all play together if there are several lines,
- Hold Approximate Duration (in frames) between the transition into and out.
