How To Install Lightroom Presets Windows Users
- 1. Install the .lrtemplate files into the appropriate directory on the computer. The presets you download will be in the form of a zip file. You must unzip them. The presets won't install as a zip file.
- 2. In this folder, you'll find the presets. They are files that have the .lrtemplate extension number
- 3. Open Lightroom 4-5.
- 4. Choose Edit>Preferences.
- 5. The user will see a brand new window that will appear. There will be a variety of tabs that appear high up in this new window. Choose from the Presets tab.
- 6. Hit the link that says Show Lightroom Presets Folder.
- 7. There will be a brand new Explorer window that will appear. Select the folder called Develop Presets. Download the file that contains your presets in your Develop Presets folder. It is recommended to move the preset folder to the new location instead of shifting it from its previous position.
- 8. Restart Lightroom and you're done. The presets you have created can be found in the Presets area within the Develop module in Lightroom.
