Aescripts Free Compose v1.5 (Win, Mac)

Mix up messy layers without breaking expressions and parenting or cropping. Similar to a pre-compose, you can open the same stack of layers.

Group any layer.

Select the layers you want to use and click the "Make Group" button. Press alt if you don't wish to have layers parented.

Layers or Groups can be hidden and shown.

Display all layers, or press alt to display only the layers of a group's nested group.

Move layers of groups quickly within the timeline

All layers of your group are in the timeline simply with a single click.

Do not cut off layers of content as pre-composing does.

Set things up in neat order. Don't fret about whether they'll be removed.

Add FX to groups.

Add or delete effects to the group layer and then manage from there. The effects of group members are arranged similarly.

Mask groups while keeping layers available

It is easy to mask layers of a group by applying a mask to the layer of the group. Masks can be configured to calculate before or following any effect. Layers can be easily moved within the mask, similar to an actual track matte.

Control Visibility and Audibility

Control the layers of the group's transparency and audibility based on the state that is remembered.

Time Stretch

Simply stretch the layers by stretching the entire group.

Nested groups with parents in average positions

The groups are parented logically to the layers' average positions by default. Alter this at any point, including after animation.
