One of the significant distinctions between the synths is their sampling attack, which can range from soft and gentle to sharp or abrupt. The sole stab instrument (as bass and snare instruments) uses an inverse triangle. Snare drums and the kick are noises that sound like a simple hum, with the kick using a concise duration of the kick to distinguish itself from the snare.
