"Ice Skating" is a complete library of over 1000 audio files derived from the world of skating on ice. It includes a variety of sound recordings using various skating techniques. It also depicts different skates, including figure skating, hockey, and free skating. ,... The majority of the recordings were recorded in an outdoor location, allowing to minimize the effects of reverberations. Most of the recordings were recorded using an M/S method with an AKG C-414 as well as a Rode Nt5 and the Sound Devices MixPre.
This library features unique and specific sound samples that have been carefully edited making them more accessible to use in any audiovisual or interactive application. The unique sound quality can be used as the basis for any audio experimentation using an artistic process. They can be combined with other sounds or processed to create a unique sound design.
