PowerTCP Zip compression for.NET was designed to be flexible. This component allows file and stream compression and decompression and the possibility to customize every item in an archive according to your specifications. The Archive component powers PowerTCP Zip Compression. It represents and manipulates all data in a collection. This data management method allows you to mix uncompressed data with compressed files and then recompress them into new archives.

Microsoft ASP.NET developers will be able to take advantage of the extensive Stream support in PowerTCP Zip Compression.NET. All compression and decompression operations support objects that implement a stream interface. Web developers can use this capability to compress data and return it to clients without creating temporary files or enabling write-access on the servers. Stream support allows seamless compatibility between other products that output or receive Streams.

QuickZip's and QuickUnzip's shortcut features allow zip operations to be performed with just one line of code. They also support batch operations and multi-threaded asynchronous capabilities for "behind the scenes" operations.
