With the FCPX LUT Loader by Pixel Film Studios, editors can easily and quickly load the CUBE image directly in Final Cut Pro X to edit or color correct their footage without the need for other software. LUT stands for Lookup Table which contains mathematical formulas for altering an image. The LUT alters every pixels' color to the color specified in the Table.
*FCPX LUT Loader requires Mac OS 10.15 Catalina and FCPX 10.4.7.
*FCPX LUT Loader requires the use of an Internet Connection to log into the Lut Editor inside FCPX.
What is a LUT?
A LUT can be described as a lookup table that has an equation for changing the mathematical formula of an image. The LUT transforms each pixels' hue to the one shown in the table. By manipulating every pixel, LUT's are able to alter every color spectrum in a different way and give users more control over their appearance.
