James Popsys – Daily Collection Presets: I have two collections of presets at present. The collection includes ten presets that I frequently use across various brands and models of cameras to create the style I achieve in my photos. These are the best presets if you want to achieve the same look. If you're interested in playing with more styles, look at my collection of experimental styles.
A note on presets If you've never purchased one previously: Many people believe that they're magic wands to make images look stunning, and they're not. These are clothes for photo shoots* and occasionally they look good or are the right color and fit you, but sometimes they can make you look silly.
If you're using presets, use them to start from a point to get a feel of the direction you'd like to go with your edit.
To get the most benefit of these presets, use them on RAW images (for JPEGs, you'll have to reduce the sharpness lower). Typically, you'll have to ensure your white balance and exposure are in the right places before applying these presets to look professional.
To install them to use them in Lightroom Classic, hit the "+" in the upper right-hand corner of the Presets tab, then choose that zip archive. Alternative methods can be found here. To do this work, you'll need an Adobe Lightroom subscription using either Lightroom Classic CC (v7.5+) or Lightroom CC (v1.3+). Unfortunately, if your system is an earlier version of Lightroom, they won't suffice.
