- HLG1, HLG2, HLG3 - My favorites also you'll be able to use them from 709 or even BT2020. HLG 1 provides You the least sound but also cuts Dynamic Range. HLG 3 gets the most lively Scope but also the maximum sound. HLG2 is right there in the middle so that is my Default but you may utilize HLG 1 and HLG 3 in some specific scenarios. Each of the HLG Profiles grades quite similarly so that you can use the same LUT for all three. Just Ensure that you choose 709 or even BT2020.
- SLog 2 - Flat Raw Color Profile but there are Autofocus and ISO limits for the A6400 inside this setting.
- No Picture Profile - I Do not recommend this setting as You're losing a great deal of Dynamic selection but there is a LUT in here in case you wind up with footage Without Picture Profiles.
HOW TO USE?
If you are unfamiliar with how to use LUTs, have a look at my guide on Premiere.
But in case you are on Different editing applications, there are LUT tutorials on youtube for your Tracking program.
Depending on that color Profile you filmed together with, open the folder and you will find 3 LUTs to select from.
LUTs
- Cinema Jetpack - This has been created specifically to match higher-end cameras such as the RED or Arri Alexa. It is now my GO-TO LUT.
- Quickfix - This is a really fundamental LUT that can get your footage appearing prepared.
- Easy but powerful Once You're Not Trying to stylize much.
- Silverlake - The Stylish Hipster Appearance which makes everything seem like a music festival. Throw in a few Digital Music, fall within this LUT, and it is party time!
