WHAT IS A POWER GRADE?
Powergrades Powergrade is a structure of nodes that can produce an appearance or effect. DaVinci Resolve Powergrades are fully customizable and are not destructive, which is why they are popular with colorists seeking flexibility and customization. When you apply the Powergrade to an image, you can view the complete node's structure and change every parameter in the node.
CAN I USE POWERGRADES WITH PREMIERE PRO OR FINAL CUT?
No. Powergrades are tree nodes built within DaVinci Resolve and meant for use in DaVinci Resolve only.
CAN I USE THIS POWERGRADE WITH ANY COLOR SPACE IN DAVINCI RESOLVE?
This PowerGrade was developed using a DaVinci Wide Gamut color space with the Rec.709 output. Although these settings are suitable for various projects, if you are familiar with DaVinci Resolve color management basics, you can utilize this PowerGrade using an alternative timeline color space. It may be necessary to make some adjustments when using a different color space.
CAN I USE THIS FOR COMMERCIAL WORK?
Absolutely. The PowerGrade is free for your and commercial projects, including but not limited to commercials, films & Ads, Wedding Videos, Social Media Content, and any other project that requires color editing.
DO I NEED ANY THIRD-PARTY PLUGINS?
No. The effects of this PowerGrade are built-in DaVinci Resolve OFX plugins, which means you don't have to install third-party plugins. While you can these PowerGrades using the accessible version of DaVinci Resolve, you'll use Resolve's Studio version of Resolve to use effects like Film Grain or Noise Reduction. Other effects aren't accessible to users of the Free version.
