- SQL using Combined Data Sources - Write SQL that, using one query, integrates information from multiple Esri enterprises or other geodatabases as well as hundreds of other formats of data database, data, or sources and provides outstanding support for the most popular DBMS servers such as Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL PostgreSQL/PostGIS DB2 and desktop files such as Access, Excel, GPKG and SQLite. Create a SELECT INTO that draws information from shapefiles and SQL Server, joins that with the data of one of the Oracle enterprise geodatabase, and creates an entirely new feature class within an existing geodatabase using the result. Su er!
- Compatible with All Written SQL which can be used on all data sources; there's no requirement to learn distinct SQL for each data source. Use a DBMS client's native SQL to do the same. Data from a Google Sheets cloud-stored spreadsheet table with a feature layer is stored in the local GDB. GDB. SQ is always in sync using all data sources.
- Server Side and client-side - Blend your local SQL with native server-side SQL within the same query. For instance, you can execute the server-side SQL within Oracle to break down a massive table to the relevant results. Then, you can examine those records using GPU for parallelized SQL functions within the client-side SQL to use ArcGIS Pro.
- For every JOIN to use real SQL, you'll need ALL JOINS: SQL for ArcGIS Pro includes every one of the SQL statements, including clauses, aggregates, operators, and data types that you require, including statements such as ALTER, DROOP UPDATE, and other options, including the most important one, the SELECT (with each of the aggregates as well as other clauses like COLLECT SPLIT, DISTINCT, INTO) and all the different JOBINS (JOIN INNER JOIN LEFT JOIN and FULL JOIN as well as LEFT OUTER JOIN, etc. ) WHERE, GROUP by, ORDER BY, UNION EXCEPT, INTERSECT, and numerous others.
