Animating Simple Text, Shapes, and Patterns: This class will teach you innovative ways to use After Effects basic techniques to create intricate graphics and animations. Complex animations are typically created by layering a variety of simple animations using offset timings. It is possible to go a long way just by learning the basics of tools and creatively using them.

This class is ideal for illustrators or graphic designers who have mastered Adobe Illustrator and want to develop their skills to create animations of their designs. There is no prior knowledge about After Effects is required.

In this course, you'll learn the following:

• Properties of the transform and bounce expression
• Text presets and animators for text
• Trim paths to line animation
• Echo Effect
• Create simple pattern animations
• Offset timings to make complicated-looking animation

For this course, you'll need Adobe Illustrator, Adobe After Effects, Adobe Bridge, and Adobe Media Encoder.
