Meridian – Benj Haisch's Cascade Presets: I've designed these presets for wedding photographers to assist me in navigating the wedding day. I could never click a preset and get it to look exactly as I envisioned it, so I designed a collection of presets for how I would like my photos to appear and feel. If you decide to use them as they are or create your unique spin upon them, I'm sure that they'll provide an excellent place to start, especially if you come across tricky lighting. I want them to be helpful to you. If something seems off, let me know so that I can assist. These have been extremely useful for me and huge time-savers, and I'm sure they will be able to do the same for you.

WHAT'S INCLUDED?

The Cascade 01 set from Benj Haisch includes 12 presets, ten colors and 2 BW presets. The set also has an additional toolset that controls contrast, grain, and much more, and the mobile version doesn't come with the toolset.

WHAT SOFTWARE DO I NEED TO USE?

The minimum requirements to run our presets are Adobe Lightroom Classic CC, 6, 5, and 4: Adobe Photoshop Camera Raw CC and the CS6. We suggest you use our presets that are updated to the most recent versions. For our mobile-friendly presets, you'll need Lightroom Mobile. Lightroom Mobile application.

Lightroom Installation

• 1. Open the Meridian - Benj Haisch - Cascade Presets ​presets folder
• 2. Open Lightroom
• 3. Go to > Lightroom > Preferences > Presets
• 4. Click on the box titled: Show Lightroom Presets Folder
• 5. Double-click on Lightroom
• 6. Double-click on Develop Presets
• 7. Copy folders Meridian - Benj Haisch - Cascade ​and Meridian - Benj Haisch - Tools​ into the Develop Presets folder. Do not include the ACR folder.
• 8. Restart Lightroom
• 9. Enjoy editing!

Photoshop (ACR) Installation

• 1. Open the Meridian - Benj Haisch - Cascade - ACR​ folder
• 2. Open Finder in Mac / Explorer in Windows, and find one of the following locations. In Mac, select “Go” from the Finder menu, then select “Go to folder. “Depending on your operating system, paste the following text: (insert your own system user name where you see “UserName” below)
• Macintosh:
  /Users/UserName/Library/Application Support/Adobe/CameraRaw/Settings
• Windows:
  C:\Documents and Settings\UserName\Application Data\Adobe\CameraRaw\Settings
• Windows 7:
  C:\Users\UserName\AppData\Roaming\Adobe\CameraRaw\Settings
• 3. Move or copy the .xmp preset files (not the folder) from the Meridian - Benj Haisch - Cascade - ACR folder into the Settings folder
• 4. Restart Photoshop
• 5. The presets will now appear in the presets tab in Camera Raw
• 6. Enjoy editing!

If you’re using Mac and can’t find the Settings folder, do the following:

Go to finder and select Go > Go to Folder from the menu, then copy and paste this in the box:

~/Library/Application Support/Adobe/CameraRaw/Settings

Additional Instructions: If you are on a Mac, the Library menu may be hidden, depending on your operating system. Select the “Go” menu in Finder to reveal it, then press the "option" key.
