It's a perfect fit! Edgar is doing his usual tricks: summing up everything that is in his view, putting the sounds into folders of single shots creating beats from these one-shots that sound like the inanimate objects he uses have minds that are their own, and have their own wacky tales to be told. The loops (delivered at 80, 100, 130 130, 140, and 150 BPM) tend to be more melodic glitch music, soft and fluid, but filled with the Mexican street feel that's pretty sweet for Edgar and an excellent opportunity for electronica artists who are contemplative to capture some of the Lopez magic in their timelines. On the other hand, Brian's sound box is pulled, bowed, scraped, and struck to create sounds that range from percussive smacks to intricate drones in metallic overtones. The other samples included from Brian include wrenches, ratchets, drills, clicks as well as other tools that you could discover in an old tool shed.
