Skillshare – Blender 3D for Beginners Model a Jack-o’-lantern

In this class I'll guide you through the easy and beginner-friendly procedure of making a Jack-o'-lantern using Blender.

The iconic Jack-o'lantern is one of the most popular symbols of Halloween and are quite simple to create using Blender! The model can be easily modified according to your preferences!

We'll go through all the steps of making this adorable Jack-o'lantern from an experienced perspective in order to prevent as much confusion as is possible. This means that I won't miss any steps, or going far too fast for you to keep on top of me.

Blender is the tool we're using in this video tutorial. It's an incredible and completely free 3D software. The only requirement is having a computer that you can run the program on.

In this course, you will be taught:

• Blender Tool and Interface: In this session, we'll be learning about a variety of tools and interface components within Blender when we design our Jack-o'-lantern.
• Modeling: To design our own Jack-o'-lantern, we'll make use of the basic tools for modeling and modifications like Boolean as well as Solidify.
• Lighting: We'll put in an eerie lighting scheme, including volumestric lighting.
• Shading can give objects the look of a pumpkin, candle wax and flames.
• Rendering: Finally the final image using Blender to allow you to send it to your loved ones via social networks.
