Aescripts Parenter v1.0 (WIN, MAC): You can quickly reposition layers without impacting their animation!
There is no need to move layers by using keyframes to position them. With Parenter, you choose the layers you wish to move, click the button, and then reposition the layers in any order you want! It's that simple! It's not affecting the parenting of the layers.
Usage:
- Select all layers you would like to transfer
- Hit on the "Create Parenter" button to create a new null. Each of the layers you have selected will be parented to
- Move the "Parenter" null to shift all your layers to a new position
- Select "Remove" to delete the Parenter null and restore all parents
Note:
- Clicking"Create Parenter" or the "Create Parenter" button creates the new null in the averaged middle of the layers you've selected
- Controlling-clicking the "Create Parenter" button creates the null in the same position as the last chosen layer
- Clicking with the shift key on"Create Parenter" button "Create Parenter" button creates the new null in the middle of the composition.
- Right-clicking on the "Create Parenter" button creates the 3D Parenter that is null and can be combined with the other shortcuts above.

- Copy/Paste a parent's copy to multiple layers at the same time
- Clear parents of the selected layers

All Parenter buttons, except "Copy" and "Paste," can be added to KBar. Verify all names of the functions in the instructions.txt file.
