From neons to quads, Beta Quad is a retopology tool built on Python that performs quick retopology on selective faces of a model. It is efficient on large ngons but not so much on smaller faces or dense meshes, owing to its unsuitability for sculpted or high-polygon models. While it is cross-platform and easy to update, it also smooths and modifies selected parts of a model instead of replacing or re-meshing faces. The tool is frequently being developed so that users can expect improved functionality.
