Simple Watercolor Flowers: 1 Brush, 3 Colors, 5 Designs

Simple Watercolor Flowers: 1 Brush, 3 Colors, 5 Designs: Welcome to a relaxing and enjoyable class where you can paint simple florals with minimal supplies! You only need one brush, three colours, and some watercolour paper to start. In under an hour, you'll learn five charming floral designs that can stand alone or complement various creative projects.

The videos are in real-time, allowing you to follow along step-by-step without any time acceleration. Each lesson includes a reference thumbnail within the frame, ensuring clarity throughout the painting process. There's no background music so you can focus entirely on the shared brush tips and techniques.

This class is suitable for all levels, although some familiarity with the wedge brush and watercolour is beneficial. If you don't have a wedge brush, a round brush can be used as a substitute.

Supplies Needed:

  • Watercolours: Yellow Ochre, Quinacridone Gold, and Undersea Green (Daniel Smith pigments are used, but any brand will suffice).
  • Watercolour paper: Recommended Canson XL cold-pressed, 140# watercolour paper. You can practice on larger sheets and cut them into cards or Polaroids if desired.
  • Brushes: An eight-inch wedge brush is used in the class, but any wedge or triangle brush of similar size or a round brush can be substituted.
  • Additional supplies: Water jars, palette, paper towels, and anything else you need while painting.

So, grab your supplies, brew tea, and let's paint together in a relaxing and creative atmosphere.
