The primary goal of every Finalizing LUT is to ensure uniformity throughout your video as well as keep color integrity intact, and a stylish look in the same order.
They can be used as an initial point of reference, in combination with other LUTs that you have, and as the ultimate touches to your workflow, finishing LUTs can enhance the process of color grading.
Note Finalizing LUTs are not LUTs for conversion. When you record with LOG format or another color space, make sure you convert your video to Rec. 709 prior to applying a finishing LUT.
